Hammond 1597DIN4MH53V DIN 4 Vented Rail Enclosure, Open Top and Terminals

The 1597DIN4MH53V is an Italtronic DIN 4 enclosure from the 1597DM Series with an open top, open terminals on both sides and vents. The 71 mm wide vented housing suits PCB assemblies and DIN rail mounted electronics that need both terminal access and ventilation.

The enclosure is RAL7035 light grey PPO rated UL94 V-0. It assembles with snap closures and no hardware, and the integrated DIN rail mounting clip fits a standard 35mm DIN rail. The purchased enclosure includes base, cover and DIN clip.

Nominal dimensions are 3.54 in x 2.8 in x 2.28 in (90 mm x 71 mm x 58 mm). At 0.09 lbs (0.04 kg) shipping weight it is the lightest of the DIN 4 versions. It is RoHS and REACH compliant.

Top covers listed for the open top (not included) are 1597D4MPH gray, 1597D4MPHTPC clear, 1597D4MPRH gray with inlay and 1597D4MPRHTPC clear with inlay. The drawing also lists 1597D4MTC6, 1597D4MTCKO, 1597D4MBC and 1597D4MHSC terminal accessories, the 1597D4MADP bread board and 1597DINCLIPXT DIN clip. Enclosures in this series can be factory modified (milling, drilling, printing etc.) on a quote basis, and solid models are available in .stp or .x_t formats.
