Hammond 1594EWGY 167mm Water-Tight Light Gray ABS Enclosure

The 1594EWGY pairs the largest 1594 body, the E size, with the water-tight construction and a light gray color. It is a rugged electronic instrument enclosure ideally suited for mounting printed circuit boards, aimed at equipment builders who need a sealed, light gray housing with room for bigger boards.

The enclosure is molded in flame retardant ABS plastic with a UL94 V-0 flame rating. Its part page lists IP65, while the series literature states that water-tight versions have been tested to and meet IP66. The heavy duty thick-wall design averages 0.13 in (3.3 mm), finished in a matte texture.

Listed dimensions are 6.57 in x 4.2 in x 2.56 in (167 mm x 107 mm x 65 mm). The drawing shows 166.97 mm [6.57 in] by 106.97 mm [4.21 in] and an assembly height of 64.85 mm [2.55 in], with four M3x0.5 - 6H x 5.75 threaded holes in brass inserts.
