The 1593TGY is a light gray, low-profile hand-held enclosure from the 1593 Series, measuring 4.4 x 2.6 x 0.83 in (112 x 66 x 21 mm). Molded in general purpose ABS with a satin texture, it is designed for printed circuit board mounting in thin, ergonomic portable products.
The built-in battery compartment has a long-life "three snap" door and accepts AAA batteries only; the two AAA holder is the largest holder that will fit. There is one removable end panel and a recessed top for a membrane display or pad (100.00 x 55.00 mm inlay). Grey enclosures ship with nickel finish screws.
Inside the 1593TGY the drawing shows 69.93 mm length, 60.79 mm width and 14.80 mm height, and PC boards up to 59.14 x 68.12 mm are recommended. Internal bosses accept #4 self-tapping screws, torqued to 20-30 cN-m; cover screws take 40 cN-m.
Shipped shrink wrapped at 0.14 lbs (0.06 kg) with top and bottom cover, 1 flat front panel, battery door and 4 cover screws. Replacement cover screws are #4 x 5/8" self-tapping (1593MS100 silver, 1593MS100BK black), and 1593SIR10 infrared or 1593SAL10 aluminum end panels fit. UL94 HB, RoHS and REACH compliant.
