The 1593STBU is the transparent blue version of the low-profile 1593S hand-held case. Its translucent satin-texture ABS shell lets indicator LEDs glow through, making it a good choice for slim remotes, beacons and demonstration hardware that should look light and compact.
The integrated battery compartment, closed by a long-life "three snap" door, accepts AAA batteries only; the BH2AAAW two AAA holder is the largest that fits. One end panel is removable and the recessed top inlay (80.25 x 55.06 mm) takes a membrane display. Transparent blue enclosures come with black finish self-tapping screws.
The 1593STBU measures 3.6 x 2.6 x 0.83 in (91 x 66 x 21 mm) per the part page and 92 x 67 x 21 mm per the series table. Inside, the drawing gives 49.86 mm length, 60.89 mm width and 14.90 mm height, with a maximum PC board of 48.89 x 59.73 mm.
Included are top and bottom cover, 1 plastic flat front panel, battery door and 4 cover screws; shipping weight 0.12 lbs (0.05 kg) in shrink wrap. Recommended torque is 40 cN-m for cover screws and 20-30 cN-m for internal mounting screws. UL94 HB, RoHS and REACH compliant.
