Hammond 1593SIR10 Infrared End Panels for 1593S & 1593T, 10-Pack

The 1593SIR10 is a 10-pack of infrared end panels sized for the low-profile 1593S and 1593T hand-held enclosures. The transparent red polycarbonate lets infrared signals pass through the end of the case, which suits slim IR remotes and devices with infrared data links.

Each panel measures 2.34 x 0.59 x 0.07 in (59 x 15 x 2 mm), matching the shallower end face of these 21 mm deep enclosures. The material is rated UL94 V-0, and the part is RoHS and REACH compliant.

The series accessory table lists the 1593SIR10 for enclosures beginning with 1593S and 1593T; enclosures are sold separately. Both are low-profile cases with a battery compartment and one removable end panel, so a single 1593SIR10 panel converts the end face of one enclosure into an infrared window.

Polycarbonate can be affected by certain chemicals. Avoid acetone, ketones, ethers, aromatic and chlorinated hydrocarbons, thread locking compounds, cutting or tapping fluid, strong solvents and some greases and oils; if modifying the panel, clear chips with an air blast rather than cutting fluid.
