Hammond 1591XXBFLBK 114mm Black Flanged-Lid Flame-Retardant ABS Enclosure

The 1591XXBFLBK is the black 1591XXB enclosure with mounting flanges integrated into the lid. Four molded countersunk holes allow easy installation to a wall or shelf, and an oval hole in each side of the flange lets the unit be strapped or hung via tie wraps. With a nominal body of 114 x 63 x 31 mm, it suits integrators and facilities teams surface-mounting a mid-sized PCB.

The textured black body is molded from easy-to-machine flame retardant ABS rated UL94 V-0. Lid screws are M3-0.5 x 10 mm Phillips machine screws threaded into integral brass bushings, appropriate for repeated assembly and disassembly. The purchased assembly includes box, lid, 4 black cover screws and installed brass inserts, with a recommended torque of (43-50) ozf.in / (30-35) cN.m.

Including the lid flanges, the overall length is 137.54 mm [5.41 in]; flange holes are 5.00 mm thru with a 9.00 mm x 82° countersink. The box interior is 108.15 x 57.65 x 27.00 mm with smooth sides and integral PCB standoffs in box and lid for a board up to 108.00 x 57.50 mm. PC board mounting bosses inside the box and lid are sized for #4 x 1/4" self-tapping screws, which are not included; PC board screws are available as 1593ATS50 or 1593ATS100.

The 1591XXBFLBK is designed to meet IP54, is RoHS and REACH compliant, and ships shrink wrapped at 0.15 lbs (0.07 kg).
