The 1591UFLBK is a black, flame retardant 1591 Series enclosure in the square 120 x 120 x 59 mm (4.72 x 4.72 x 2.32 in) size, with wall mounting flanges molded into the lid. It is intended for designers and installers who want to fix a PCB housing directly to a wall or panel.
Molded from flame retardant ABS rated UL94 V-0, the box has card guides in every side wall for 1.5 mm (0.062") boards mounted vertically. Lap joint construction protects against dust and splashing water and the enclosure is designed to meet IP54.
Per the drawing, overall length across the flanged lid is 145.80 mm [5.740 in] with 134.00 mm [5.276 in] flange hole centres, overall width 120.30 mm and height 58.80 mm. Inside dimensions are 113.54 x 113.54 x 54.90 mm. The lid screws are M3 x 10 mm Phillips machine screws into pre-installed brass inserts (black on black enclosures), torqued to 35.5–42.5 ozf.in (25–30 cN.m). The lid also accepts #4 self-tapping screws, with 1593ATS50/1593ATS100 PC board screws listed.
