The 1591UF2GY is the light gray, flame retardant bottom-flange enclosure in the square 120 x 120 x 59 mm (4.72 x 4.72 x 2.32 in) size of the 1591 Series. The flange attached to the bottom lets electricians and OEMs fix the box securely to a mounting surface.
Molded from easy-to-machine flame retardant ABS with a UL94 V-0 rating, it provides card guides in all side walls for 1.5 mm (0.062") boards. Lap joint construction protects against dust and splashing water, and the enclosure is designed to meet IP54.

The lid is secured with M3 x 10 mm Phillips machine screws threaded into integral brass bushings; light gray enclosures include nickel finish screws. Tighten to 35.5–42.5 ozf.in (25–30 cN.m). The 1591UF2GY includes box, lid, 4 cover screws and pre-installed brass inserts, ships in shrink wrap at 0.38 lbs (0.17 kg), and is RoHS and REACH compliant.
Accessories listed on the drawing include the 1591UC clear flame retardant polycarbonate lid, 1591Z card adaptors for horizontal boards and 1599CLIP/1599CLIPGY nylon belt or pocket clips.
