The 1591UF2BK is a black 120 x 120 x 59 mm (4.72 x 4.72 x 2.32 in) 1591 Series enclosure with an accessory mounting flange attached to the bottom. As a flame retardant version, it is aimed at engineers who need to bolt a square PCB housing to a panel, chassis or wall.
It is molded from flame retardant ABS rated UL94 V-0. Card guides molded into all side walls accept 1.5 mm (0.062") boards for vertical mounting. Lap joint construction protects against dust and splashing water, and the design meets IP54.
On the drawing, the bottom flange brings overall length to 145.20 mm [5.717 in], with flange hole centres at 133.50 mm [5.256 in] and an overall height of 60.50 mm [2.382 in]. The inside cavity is 113.54 x 113.54 x 54.90 mm. The lid fastens with M3 x 10 mm Phillips machine screws into pre-installed brass inserts, and black enclosures include black screws. Recommended torque: 35.5–42.5 ozf.in (25–30 cN.m).
