The 1591UF2SBK is the black, general purpose ABS (economy) version of the square 120 x 120 x 59 mm (4.72 x 4.72 x 2.32 in) 1591 Series enclosure with a mounting flange on the bottom. It suits surface-mounted electronics where flame retardant plastic is not specified.
The enclosure is molded from general purpose ABS with a UL94 HB flame rating; economy versions are not flame retardant. Card guides in all side walls accept 1.5 mm (0.062") boards for vertical mounting, and lap joint construction protects against dust and splashing water, with an IP54 design.
Drawing dimensions: 145.20 mm [5.717 in] overall length including the flange, 133.50 mm [5.256 in] flange hole centres, 60.50 mm [2.382 in] overall height and 113.54 x 113.54 x 54.90 mm inside. The lid is assembled with #4 self-tapping screws into fully plastic posts; black enclosures include black screws. Recommended torque is 42–57 ozf.in (30–40 cN.m).
