Hammond 1590WTRPBBK Black Narrow Trapezoid Watertight Diecast Box

The 1590WTRPBBK pairs the "Narrow Trapezoid" outline of the 1590TRPB with a black textured finish and a silicone gasket. It is aimed at builders of effects pedals and small electronic instruments who want a tapered case that looks different on a pedalboard or bench, with IP65 protection against dust and liquid.

Construction is diecast aluminum alloy for both box and lid. The material is rugged yet easy to machine, and the low side wall draft angle of 2° or less helps when fitting a PC board. Four #6-32 x 1/2" machine screws hold the lid into factory-tapped holes; for the gasketed assembly the recommended torque is 25-30 cN.m [36-43 ozf.in].
