The 1590WBS is the water-tight, natural-finish version of the 1590BS diecast aluminum enclosure, the deeper body built on the 1590B footprint. Without mounting flanges, it is a compact, rugged housing for electronics designers and OEM builders who need extra internal height in a box designed to meet IP65.
Box and lid are diecast aluminum alloy, tough yet easy to machine for switches, jacks and cable entries. The unpainted version is vibra finished for a smooth surface with no sharp edges. Lap joint construction where lid and box meet protects against dust and splashing water, and the silicone gasket is included, supplied loose inside the enclosure.
