Hammond 1590WBFL 112x61x31mm IP65 Diecast Enclosure, Flanged Lid

The 1590WBFL is the natural-finish, water-tight 1590B diecast aluminum enclosure with a wall-mounting flange integrated into the lid. It is a compact option for electronics designers, integrators and electricians who want to mount a small metal housing lid-side to a wall or panel, designed to meet IP65.

Box and lid are diecast aluminum alloy, tough yet easy to machine for connectors and controls. The unpainted finish is vibra finished for a smooth surface with no sharp edges, and the lap joint where lid and box meet protects against dust and splashing water. A silicone gasket is included, supplied loose inside the enclosure rather than pre-installed.

Nominal size is 4.41 x 2.40 x 1.22 in (112 x 61 x 31 mm); the part page lists 4.43 x 2.38 x 1.22 in (113 x 60 x 31 mm). The drawing shows 138.00 mm [5.433 in] across the lid flange, 60.50 mm [2.382 in] width and 31.00 mm [1.220 in] height. Inside dimensions are 107.05 mm [4.215 in] long, 55.45 mm [2.183 in] wide and 27.00 mm [1.063 in] high, and the maximum PC board is 53.45 x 105.05 mm. Side wall draft is 2 degrees or less.

Four 3.50 mm [0.138 in] holes in the lid flange are used for mounting. The 1590WBFL includes the box, lid and 4 cover screws for factory-tapped 6-32 UNC holes; recommended torque is 50-55 cN.m [71-78 ozf.in], or 25-30 cN.m [36-43 ozf.in] with the gasket. Shipping weight is 0.32 lbs (0.15 kg), and it is RoHS and REACH compliant.
