The 1590VFL is the deep 1590V diecast aluminum enclosure in natural aluminum with the wall-mounting flange integrated into the lid. Mount the lid flat to a wall or panel and close the box onto it, a layout that suits installers and OEM engineers housing taller electronics on a vertical surface.
The box and lid are diecast aluminum alloy, tough yet easy to machine. The unpainted natural aluminum version is vibra finished for a smooth surface with no sharp edges. Lap joint construction where lid and box meet protects against dust and splashing water, and the standard version is designed to meet IP54.

Four cover screws thread into factory-tapped 6-32 UNC holes, torqued to 50-55 cN.m [71-78 ozf.in], or 25-30 cN.m [36-43 ozf.in] with a gasket fitted. The water-tight 1590WVFL and the 1590QGASKET kit are listed for IP65 builds. The 1590VFL is RoHS and REACH compliant; shipping weight 1.09 lbs (0.49 kg).
