The 1590VF is the deep 1590V diecast aluminum enclosure with a flanged bottom plate, finished in natural aluminum. It is built for integrators and OEM engineers who need a tall, surface-mounted metal housing for larger components or multiple circuit boards.
The box and lid are diecast aluminum alloy and the bottom flange is welded to the box. The unpainted natural aluminum version is vibra finished for a smooth surface with no sharp edges. The lap joint where lid and box meet guards against dust and splashing water; this standard version is designed to meet IP54.
Listed size is 4.7 in x 4.72 in x 3.69 in (119 mm x 120 mm x 94 mm), with a nominal ordering-table size of 4.72 in x 4.72 in x 3.70 in (120 mm x 120 mm x 94 mm). The box, lid and 4 cover screws are supplied, with factory-tapped 6-32 UNC holes and a recommended torque of 50-55 cN.m [71-78 ozf.in]. The water-tight 1590WVF and the 1590QGASKET replacement gasket kit are listed for sealed builds. The 1590VF is RoHS and REACH compliant and ships at 1.18 lbs (0.54 kg).
