The 1590UFLBK is the 1590U square diecast aluminum enclosure with a wall-mounting flange integrated into the lid, finished in textured black. The lid mounts to the wall or panel and the box closes onto it, which suits installers and OEM engineers fitting electronics to a flat surface.
Box and lid are diecast aluminum alloy, tough yet easy to machine. The textured black version is coated with tough polyester powder paint for a lasting finish, even after machining, and black screws are included to enhance appearance. Lap joint construction where lid and box meet provides protection against dust and splashing water, and the standard version is designed to meet IP54.

Four cover screws are included and thread into factory-tapped 6-32 UNC holes; recommended torque is 50-55 cN.m [71-78 ozf.in], or 25-30 cN.m [36-43 ozf.in] with a gasket. For IP65, the water-tight 1590WUFLBK is listed, along with the 1590QGASKET replacement kit. The 1590UFLBK is RoHS and REACH compliant, packed in shrink wrap, shipping weight 0.91 lbs (0.41 kg).
