Hammond 1590V 119x120x94 mm Natural Diecast Aluminum Box

The 1590V is the deep 1590V diecast aluminum box and lid in natural aluminum, with no mounting flanges. With 88.70 mm of inside height it gives electronics builders and OEM engineers room for stacked boards, transformers or taller components in a rugged metal case.

The box and lid are diecast aluminum alloy, which is tough yet easy to machine. The unpainted natural aluminum version is vibra finished for a smooth surface with no sharp edges. Lap joint construction where lid and box meet protects against dust and splashing water, and this standard version is designed to meet IP54.

Maximum PC board size is 110.21 mm x 110.21 mm, helped by a side wall draft angle of 2° or less.

Included are the box, lid and 4 cover screws threaded into factory-tapped 6-32 UNC holes, with a recommended torque of 50-55 cN.m [71-78 ozf.in]. For IP65 use the water-tight 1590WV, or the 1590QGASKET replacement gasket kit. The 1590V is RoHS and REACH compliant; shipping weight is 1.01 lbs (0.46 kg).
