The 1590M is a mid-size diecast aluminum instrument enclosure in the 1590-RIBBED series, suited to OEM engineers, integrators and hobbyists housing a circuit board in a rugged metal box. Internal ribs form guides so a P.C. board can be slid in, and the side walls have a low draft angle of 2 degrees or less for easy board mounting.
The box and lid are made from diecast aluminum alloy that is tough yet easy to machine. This natural version is unpainted and vibra finished for a smooth surface with no sharp edges. Lap joint construction protects against access of dust and splashing water, and the 1590M is rated IP54.
