The 1590FBK is the textured black version of the square 188 x 188 x 67 mm (7.4 x 7.4 x 2.64 in) 1590F diecast aluminum enclosure. It gives OEM designers and integrators a finished metal case with room for PC boards up to 174.91 x 174.91 mm.
Box and lid are diecast aluminum alloy coated with tough polyester powder paint, a finish that lasts even after machining. Black screws are included to match. A lap joint where the lid meets the box protects against dust and splashing water, and this standard version is designed to meet IP54.

The 1590FBK comes with eight cover screws for factory-tapped 6-32 UNC holes, torqued to 50-55 cN.m. The ordering table lists 1590FGASKET as the replacement gasket kit for an IP65 upgrade (25-30 cN.m lid torque), and black stainless O-ring screws are available as 1590WMS100BK. The water-tight black version is 1590WFBK; flanged options are 1590FFBK and 1590FFLBK.
RoHS and REACH compliant and shrink wrapped. Factory machining and printing are available, and solid models can be had in STEP or IGES.
