The 1590EEBK is the black-painted version of the 200 x 120 x 85 mm (7.88 x 4.73 x 3.33 in) 1590EE diecast aluminum enclosure. With 80 mm of usable inside height, it suits designers and integrators who need a deep, finished metal case for taller electronics.
The aluminum alloy box and lid carry a textured black polyester powder paint that lasts even after machining, and black screws are included. Lap joint construction where lid and box meet protects against dust and splashing water; the standard enclosure is designed to meet IP54.

Six cover screws are supplied for the factory-tapped M3.5 x 0.6 holes; torque them to 50-55 cN.m. To upgrade the 1590EEBK to IP65, apply the 1590DEGASKET kit to the lid, torque to 25-30 cN.m and use 1550WMS100BK black stainless steel O-ring screws. The water-tight equivalent is 1590WEEBK.
RoHS and REACH compliant, shipped shrink wrapped. Factory milling, drilling and printing are offered, and STEP or IGES models are available.
