The 1590EE is a 1590 Series diecast aluminum enclosure with a nominal size of 200 x 120 x 85 mm (7.88 x 4.73 x 3.33 in). It is the taller companion to the 1590DE, offering 80 mm of inside height for engineers and builders housing tall components, multiple boards or cable entries.
The box and lid are diecast aluminum alloy in a natural, unpainted finish, vibra finished for a smooth surface with no sharp edges. A lap joint lid-to-box interface protects against dust and splashing water, and the standard enclosure is designed to meet IP54. Side walls have a draft angle of 2° or less for easy PC board mounting, and the lid is 4 mm (0.16 in) high.
The drawing shows 200.20 x 120.20 x 84.50 mm overall, with an inside length of 191.63 mm, inside width of 111.63 mm and inside height of 80.00 mm. The maximum PC board is 175.67 x 107.67 mm. Shipping weight is 1.41 lb (0.64 kg).
The assembly includes box, lid and six cover screws that thread into factory-tapped M3.5 x 0.6 holes, tightened to 50-55 cN.m. For an IP65 design, install the 1590DEGASKET kit (shared with the 1590DE) and torque to 25-30 cN.m with 1550WMS100 stainless steel O-ring screws. The gasketed version of the 1590EE is 1590WEE.
RoHS and REACH compliant and shrink wrapped. The enclosure can be factory modified, and STEP or IGES solid models are available.
