The 1590BSFLBK is a black textured diecast aluminum enclosure that pairs the deeper 1590BS body with a lid carrying an integrated mounting flange. It is built for electricians, integrators and OEM engineers who need a compact painted enclosure that mounts lid-first to a wall or panel. Part page size is 4.41 x 2.38 x 1.65 in (112 x 60 x 42 mm).
Its diecast aluminum alloy box and lid are coated with a tough polyester powder paint for a lasting finish, even after machining. Black screws are included to enhance appearance.
Across the lid flange the drawing shows 138.00 mm [5.433 in] overall length, with 42.00 mm [1.654 in] overall height. Inside dimensions are 106.47 x 54.97 x 38.00 mm [4.192 x 2.164 x 1.496 in], and the side walls have a draft angle of 2 degrees or less for easy PC board mounting. Maximum P.C. board figures in the part data are 52.97 mm and 104.47 mm.
Lap joint construction protects against dust and splashing water, and the 1590BSFLBK is designed to meet IP54. Four 6-32 UNC screws thread into factory-tapped holes, tightened to 50-55 cN.m [71-78 ozf.in]. For IP65, the water-tight equivalent is 1590WBSFLBK, or install the 1590BGASKET kit with 1590WMS100BK black stainless O-ring screws at 25-30 cN.m.
