Hammond 1589T8G1BKRR 1U 20A Rack PDU, 8 Rear 5-20R Outlets

The 1589T8G1BKRR is a 1U, 19-inch horizontal rackmount power distribution unit with eight rear-facing NEMA 5-20R outlets, rated 20A at 125VAC. It is intended for IT, networking, AV, telecom, test and industrial equipment mounted in standard 19-inch racks and cabinets, where 20A single-phase branch power needs to be distributed to several devices at the rear of the rack.

All eight outlets face the rear of the unit (0 front / 8 rear), which keeps power connections close to the cord entries of rack-mounted equipment and helps maintain organized cable runs. The heavy-duty 5-20R receptacles accept both NEMA 5-15P and 5-20P equipment plugs. This model uses an illuminated power indicator rather than an on/off switch, and a resettable circuit breaker is built in to help protect against accidental electrical overload.

Power is supplied through a captive 15 ft 12/3 SJT cord terminated in a straight-blade NEMA 5-20P plug; the cord is unshielded and the unit is not surge protected or amp metered. Construction is black painted steel front and back, in a textured RAL9005 black powder coat finish that meets applicable GREENGUARD indoor air quality and RoHS requirements.
