Hammond 1589T77D1 77 in Vertical PDU, 12 Outlets, L5-20P Plug

The 1589T77D1 is a vertical basic PDU (outlet strip) from the 1589H-T series, built for 20A, 120V single-phase distribution inside server cabinets, wall mount cabinets and open frame racks. At 77.00 in (1956 mm) strip length with 12 NEMA 5-20R receptacles, it is aimed at IT and AV integrators, electricians and facilities teams powering a full-height cabinet from a single locking circuit.

Construction is a low-profile, slim anodized aluminum extrusion case with ABS plastic ends, keeping the unit rugged but light at a 7.1 lbs (3.22 kg) shipping weight. The finish is Natural (black finish is available upon request). Receptacles are heavy-duty black, 1 in square, rated 20A/125VAC (NEMA 5-20R, single T-slot) and equally spaced over the length of the strip. This version carries a power indicator pilot light rather than an on/off switch, plus a resettable 20 Amp circuit breaker; the switched equivalent is 1589H77D1.

Power input is a 15 ft heavy-duty 12/3 SJT cord rated for extreme temperature ranges with an integral molded NEMA L5-20P locking plug. Operating temperature range is -20 °C to +60 °C. A mounting bracket kit with hardware is included; additional kits can be ordered as P/N 1585CLIP.

• NOTE #1: Outlet strips can NOT be used between the front and rear panel rails of rack cabinets, as they and the equipment plugs will interfere with mounted equipment and accessories.
• NOTE #2: To properly use on rack cabinets, allow sufficient depth BEHIND the rear panel rails for vertically mounting to the struts.
