Hammond 1589T12F1BKX 1U 20A PDU, 12 Dual-Sided 5-20R Outlets

The 1589T12F1BKX is a 1U, 19-inch rackmount power distribution unit that delivers 20A single-phase power to equipment in server, network, AV and industrial racks. With 12 NEMA 5-20R outlets split six on the front and six on the rear, it lets integrators and facilities teams land power connections on the same side of the rack as the equipment cordsets, which keeps cabling shorter and tidier in dual-sided installations.

Power comes in through a 6 ft heavy-duty 12/3 SJT cord terminated in a straight-blade NEMA 5-20P plug for connection to a 20A branch circuit. The heavy-duty 5-20R receptacles are rated 20A, 125VAC and accept both NEMA 5-15P and 5-20P equipment plugs, so a mix of standard and 20A loads can be supported from one strip. A resettable circuit breaker helps protect against accidental electrical overload, and a pilot light provides visual indication of operating status; this model has no on/off switch (the switched equivalent in the series is 1589H12F1BKX). This part is not metered, not surge protected and does not use a shielded cord.

The chassis measures 1.72 in high x 19 in wide x 2.66 in deep (44 mm x 483 mm x 68 mm) and is finished in textured RAL9005 black powder coat that meets applicable GREENGUARD indoor air quality and RoHS requirements. Four 0.250 in x 0.375 in slots in the integral flanges allow direct horizontal mounting in standard 19-inch racks and cabinets, occupying a single rack unit.

1589T12F1BKX is manufactured in Canada, is UL/cUL recognized to UL 1363 and CSA C22.2 No. 308-14 under UL File E166039, and is TAA and USMCA compliant for applicable U.S. federal procurement. Operating temperature range is -20°C to +60°C.
