Hammond 1589H8G1BKRF 1U 20A Rack PDU, 8 Front 5-20R Outlets

The 1589H8G1BKRF is a 1U horizontal rackmount power distribution unit rated 20A for standard 19-inch racks and cabinets. It carries eight heavy-duty NEMA 5-20R receptacles, all facing the front of the unit, making it a practical choice for IT, networking, AV, telecom, test and industrial equipment that connects at the front of the rack. Rear outlet count is zero, so every connection is made on the outlet face.

Power comes in through an included 15 ft power cord terminated in a NEMA 5-20P straight-blade plug, giving extra reach to a branch circuit or wall receptacle without an extension. The series uses 12/3 SJT cord construction. An on/off rocker switch controls the strip, and a resettable circuit breaker helps protect against accidental electrical overload. This model is not metered, not surge protected and does not use a shielded cord; the outlets are not rotated and are not hospital grade.

The chassis measures 1.72 in (44 mm) high, 19.00 in (483 mm) wide and 2.66 in (68 mm) deep, with the drawing showing 43.64 mm [1.718 in] height, 482.60 mm [19.000 in] width and 67.58 mm [2.661 in] depth.
