Hammond 1589T12G1BKX 12-Outlet 1U PDU, 20A 5-20R Front & Rear

The 1589T12G1BKX is a 1U horizontal rackmount power distribution unit that delivers 20A single-phase power to equipment in standard 19-inch racks and cabinets. With twelve NEMA 5-20R outlets split six on the front and six on the rear, it suits IT, networking, AV, telecom, test and industrial installations where equipment cords land on both sides of the rack and cabling needs to stay organized.

Outlets are heavy-duty NEMA 5-20R receptacles rated 20A, 125VAC and accept both NEMA 5-15P and 5-20P equipment plugs, so a single strip can serve a mix of 15A and 20A gear. Power is supplied through an included 15 ft 12/3 SJT cord terminated in a straight-blade NEMA 5-20P plug. This model uses a power indicator light rather than an on/off switch, and a resettable circuit breaker helps protect against accidental electrical overload. There is no surge protection, shielded cord or ammeter on this configuration.

The chassis measures 1.72 in x 19 in x 2.66 in (44 mm x 483 mm x 68 mm) and weighs 4.5 lbs (2.04 kg) shipping. Four 0.250 in x 0.375 in mounting slots in the 19.000 in wide front flange allow direct mounting into standard 19-inch rack rails, occupying a single rack unit of panel space. The finish is a textured RAL9005 black powder coat that meets applicable GREENGUARD indoor air quality and RoHS requirements.

1589T12G1BKX is UL/cUL recognized to UL 1363 and CSA C22.2 No. 308-14 under UL File E166039, is TAA compliant for applicable U.S. federal procurement, and is USMCA, RoHS and REACH compliant. Operating temperature range is -20°C to +60°C. Manufactured in North America.
