Hammond 1589H77G1 77 in 12-Outlet 20A Vertical PDU, 5-20P Cord

The 1589H77G1 is a 77 in (1956 mm) vertical basic power distribution unit from the 1589H-T series, built for IT, AV and industrial users who need to feed a full column of rack-mounted equipment from a single 20A, 120V single-phase circuit. It ships with an on/off rocker switch (the 1589T77G1 is the equivalent pilot-light version) and a resettable 20 Amp circuit breaker.

Construction is a low-profile, slim anodized aluminum extrusion with ABS plastic end caps, keeping the strip rugged but light at a 7 lb (3.18 kg) shipping weight. The 12 heavy-duty black receptacles are NEMA 5-20R single T-slot, rated 20A/125VAC, 1 in square and equally spaced along the length of the strip so 5-15 and 5-20 plugs both seat correctly. Outlets face one side (front), with none on the rear, and are not rotated.

Power is supplied by a 15 ft heavy-duty 12/3 SJT cord with integral molded NEMA 5-20P straight-blade plug, suitable for extreme temperature ranges; operating temperature is -20 C to +60 C. The assembly measures 77.468 in (1967.69 mm) overall with an extrusion length of 77.200 in (1960.88 mm) and a body profile of 1.616 in (41.05 mm). Finish is natural (black finish available upon request per the series data).

• Note: outlet strips cannot be used between the front and rear panel rails of rack cabinets, as the strip and equipment plugs will interfere with mounted equipment and accessories. Allow sufficient depth behind the rear panel rails when mounting vertically to the struts.
