Hammond 1589H77D1 77 in 12-Outlet Vertical PDU, 20A 120V L5-20P

The 1589H77D1 is a 77 in (1956 mm) vertical basic PDU from the 1589H-T Series, rated 20A at 120VAC single-phase and fitted with NEMA 5-20R receptacles. It is intended for IT, AV and electrical installers who need full-height power distribution inside server cabinets, wall mount cabinets and open frame racks, or mounted horizontally above a work bench.

Construction is a low-profile slim anodized aluminum extrusion with ABS plastic ends, keeping the strip rugged but light weight. Receptacles are 1 in square, heavy-duty black, rated 20A/125VAC (NEMA 5-20R, single T-slot) and equally spaced over the length of the strip. An on/off rocker switch and a resettable 20 amp circuit breaker are built in, and there is no surge protection or metering on this model. Colour is Natural; a black finish is available upon request.

Power is supplied through a 15 ft heavy duty 12 gauge cord (12/3 SJT rated for extreme temperature ranges) with an integral molded NEMA L5-20P locking plug. Operating temperature range is -20 degrees C to +60 degrees C. A mounting bracket kit with hardware is included with 1589H77D1; additional kits can be ordered as P/N 1585CLIP.

Note that outlet strips cannot be used between the front and rear panel rails of rack cabinets, as the strip and equipment plugs will interfere with mounted equipment and accessories; allow sufficient depth behind the rear panel rails for vertical mounting to the struts.
