Hammond 1589H70F124 70 in Vertical PDU, 24 Outlets, 20A 120V

The 1589H70F124 is a 70 in (1778 mm) vertical basic PDU from the 1589H-T Series, built for IT, AV and facilities teams that need to distribute 20A, 120VAC power inside a server cabinet, wall mount cabinet or open frame rack. The drawing shows 24 20A/125V NEMA 5-20R receptacles along the strip, an ON/OFF power switch and a resettable circuit breaker, so a single vertical strip can feed a full column of equipment.

Construction is a low-profile slim anodized aluminum extrusion with ABS plastic ends, keeping the unit rugged but light (6 lbs / 2.72 kg shipping weight). Receptacles are 1 in square, heavy-duty black and equally spaced over the length of the power strip. Power comes in through an integral molded NEMA 5-20P straight blade plug on a 6 ft heavy duty 12/3 SJT cord rated for extreme temperature ranges; operating temperature is -20 C to +60 C. Finish is Natural; black finish is available upon request.

Overall assembly length is 1789.89 mm (70.468 in) with a profile depth of 29.18 mm (1.149 in) from the end view, so 1589H70F124 tucks into tight vertical channels. A mounting bracket kit with hardware is included; additional kits can be ordered as P/N 1585CLIP. Per the series notes, outlet strips cannot be used between the front and rear panel rails of rack cabinets because they and the equipment plugs interfere with mounted equipment and accessories, and sufficient depth must be allowed behind the rear panel rails for vertical mounting to the struts.

The 1589H70F124 is UL Listed to UL1363 and CSA Certified to C22.2 (No. 21-95, 42-99) and CSA C22.2 No. 308-14 under UL file E166039, RoHS and REACH compliant, USMCA compliant and TAA-compliant for federal GSA schedule purchases within the USA. It is manufactured in North America. It has no surge protection, no metering, no rotated outlets and is not hospital grade.
