Hammond 1589H60D1 60 in 10-Outlet 20A Vertical PDU With Switch

The 1589H60D1 is a 60 in (1524 mm) vertical basic power distribution unit from the 1589H-T Series, rated 20A at 120VAC single-phase. It is built for IT, AV and facilities teams that need straightforward rack power distribution in server cabinets, wall mount cabinets and open frame racks, or mounted horizontally above a work bench.

The housing is a low-profile anodized aluminum extrusion with ABS plastic end caps, keeping the strip rugged but light weight. Outlets are heavy-duty black receptacles rated 20A, 125VAC (NEMA 5-20R, single T-slot); each receptacle opening is 1 in square and the outlets are equally spaced over the length of the strip on 5.000 in centers. This version includes an on/off rocker power switch and a resettable 20 Amp circuit breaker. The pilot-light equivalent of this configuration is 1589T60D1.

Power input is a heavy duty 15 ft, 12 gauge 12/3 SJT cord suited to extreme temperature ranges, terminated in an integral molded NEMA L5-20P twist-locking plug. Operating temperature range is -20 degrees C to +60 degrees C. The strip is not metered, has no surge protection and the cord is unshielded.

A mounting bracket kit with hardware is included with the 1589H60D1; order P/N 1585CLIP for an additional hardware kit. Note that outlet strips cannot be used between the front and rear panel rails of rack cabinets, as the strip and equipment plugs will interfere with mounted equipment and accessories — allow sufficient depth behind the rear panel rails for vertical mounting to the struts.

The series is UL/cUL Listed to UL1363 and CSA C22.2 No. 308-14 (UL File # E166039), RoHS and REACH compliant, TAA-compliant for federal GSA schedule purchases within the USA, and manufactured in North America. Natural anodized finish; black finish is available upon request.
