Hammond 1587H10C1 70-Inch 10-Outlet Vertical PDU With L5-15P Plug

The 1587H10C1 is a 70 in (1778 mm) vertical basic PDU with 10 NEMA 5-15R outlets, rated 125 VAC, 60 Hz, 15 amps. It is built for IT, AV and electrical teams that need to distribute 120 V single-phase power the full height of a rack, cabinet or open frame, and it can also be laid horizontally on a workbench. All 10 outlets face the front; there are no rear outlets, no metering and no surge protection on this model.

The housing is an anodized aluminum extrusion with ABS plastic ends, giving a low-profile slim strip that is rugged but lightweight, supplied in the Natural finish. Shipping weight is 5 lbs (2.27 kg). Receptacles are 1 in square and equally spaced along the length of the strip, with a typical 5.000 in (127.00 mm) pitch per the drawing, and the first outlet centred 10.458 in (265.62 mm) from the end. Overall assembly dimensions on the drawing are 70.472 in (1789.99 mm) long with a 1.616 in (41.05 mm) profile.

Power comes from an integral moulded NEMA L5-15P locking plug on a 6 ft heavy duty 14 gauge 14/3 SJT cord suited to extreme temperature ranges. Control and protection are handled by an on/off rocker switch and a resettable 15 amp circuit breaker, so equipment can be switched and protected locally at the strip.

1587H10C1 ships with a mounting bracket kit and hardware for vertical installation; additional kits are available as P/N 1585CLIP. The strip is cULus Listed to UL 1363 (UL file E166039), CSA Certified to C22.2 No. 21-95 and No. 42-99, TAA-compliant for federal GSA schedule purchases within the USA, RoHS and REACH compliant, USMCA compliant and manufactured in Canada.
