Hammond 1587H10A1BK 70-Inch 10-Outlet Vertical Power Strip, Black

The 1587H10A1BK is a 70-inch vertical basic PDU (outlet strip) with ten NEMA 5-15R receptacles, rated 125 VAC, 60 Hz, 15 amps. It is intended for IT, AV and electrical installers who need to distribute 120 V single-phase power the full height of a rack, cabinet or relay rack frame, and it can also be laid horizontally on a workbench.

Construction is a low-profile slim black painted aluminum extrusion with ABS plastic end caps, keeping the strip rugged but lightweight. The ten 5-15R outlets are all on the front face (10 front, 0 rear), are 1 inch square and are equally spaced at 5.000 in (127.00 mm) intervals over the length of the strip. An on/off rocker switch and a resettable 15 amp circuit breaker are fitted at the cord end; this part is not surge protected, not metered and not hospital grade. The nominal strip length is 70.00 in (1778 mm), with an overall assembly length of 70.472 in (1789.99 mm). Power is supplied through an integral 6 ft heavy-duty 14/3 SJT cord, suitable for extreme temperature ranges, terminated in a moulded NEMA 5-15P straight-blade plug. The cord is unshielded. Shipping weight is 5 lbs (2.27 kg).

Each 1587H10A1BK strip ships with a mounting bracket kit and hardware; additional hardware kits are available under P/N 1585CLIP. The strip is cULus recognised under UL file E166039, UL Listed to Standard UL1363 and CSA Certified to C22.2 No. 21-95 and No. 42-99, is TAA-compliant for federal GSA schedule purchases within the USA, and is RoHS, REACH and USMCA compliant.
