Hammond 1586T12B1 60-Inch 12-Outlet Vertical PDU, 15A 125V

The 1586T12B1 is a 60 in. vertical basic PDU (outlet strip) with 12 NEMA 5-15R receptacles, rated 15 amps at 125VAC, 60 Hz. It is intended for IT, AV, telecom and electrical installers who need to distribute single-phase 120V power the full height of a rack or cabinet, and the low-profile slim design also lets it be used horizontally on a workbench.

Construction is a rugged, lightweight anodized aluminum extrusion case with ABS plastic ends in a natural finish. Power is supplied by a heavy duty 14 gauge, 14/3 SJT type cord for extreme temperature ranges with an integral moulded NEMA 5-15P straight blade plug; on this model the cord is 15 ft long. This version has no on-off switch: it uses a power indicator (pilot) light together with a resettable 15 Amp circuit breaker.

All 12 outlets face the front (none at the rear) and are not rotated. Receptacles are 1 in. square and equally spaced over the length of the strip at 4.500 in (114.30 mm) typical centres. The extrusion measures 1529.08 mm [60.200 in] with an overall assembly length of 1535.89 mm [60.468 in]; shipping weight is 6 lbs (2.72 kg).

A mounting bracket kit with hardware is included with the strip; additional hardware kits can be ordered under P/N 1585CLIP. The 1586T12B1 is cULus listed under UL File E166039 to UL Standard UL1363 and CSA Certified to C22.2 (No. 21-95, 42-99), is TAA-compliant for federal GSA schedule purchases within the USA, and is RoHS, REACH and USMCA compliant.
