Hammond 1586T12A1 60-Inch 12-Outlet Vertical PDU, Pilot Light

The 1586T12A1 is a 60-inch vertical basic PDU (outlet strip) with 12 NEMA 5-15R receptacles, rated 125VAC, 60 Hz, 15 amps. It is built for IT, AV and facilities teams that need to distribute 120V single-phase power along the full height of a rack or cabinet, and for OEM and workbench applications where a long, slim strip is easier to route than multiple short ones. This version uses a power indicator (pilot) light rather than a rocker switch, so the strip cannot be switched off accidentally, and it includes a resettable circuit breaker.

Construction is a low-profile anodized aluminum extrusion case with ABS plastic ends, in a natural finish, keeping the assembly rugged but lightweight. The 1” square receptacles are equally spaced over the length of the strip, with all 12 outlets on the front face and none on the rear. Overall assembly length is 1535.89 mm (60.468 in), with a case length of 1529.08 mm (60.200 in); the strip measures 41.05 mm (1.616 in) across the outlet face and 29.03 mm (1.143 in) deep at the end view. Shipping weight is 3.7 lbs (1.68 kg).

Power is supplied by an integral 6 ft heavy-duty 14/3 SJT cord with a moulded NEMA 5-15P straight-blade plug, suited to extreme temperature ranges. A mounting bracket kit with hardware is included for vertical installation; additional hardware kits are available under P/N 1585CLIP. The same strip can also be laid horizontally on a bench.

1586T12A1 is cULus recognized in the Standards data and carries UL File # E166039, UL Listed Standard UL1363 and CSA Certified Standards C22.2 (No. 21-95, 42-99). It is TAA-compliant for federal GSA schedule purchases within the USA, RoHS and REACH compliant, USMCA compliant, and manufactured in North America (Country of Origin: CA).
