Hammond 1586T12B1BK 60" 12-Outlet Vertical Power Strip, 15A Pilot Light

The 1586T12B1BK is a 60" vertical basic PDU (outlet strip) rated 125VAC, 60 Hz, 15 amps, built for rack and cabinet power distribution in data, network and AV installations. It carries 12 NEMA 5-15R receptacles, all on the front face, and uses a power indicator (pilot) light rather than an on-off rocker switch, plus a resettable circuit breaker for overcurrent protection.

Construction is a black painted aluminum extrusion with ABS plastic end caps, giving a low-profile slim housing that is rugged yet lightweight. Receptacles are 1" square and equally spaced over the length of the strip, and the 4.500 in typical outlet spacing suits standard cord caps and wall-wart clearance. Shipping weight is 4.5 lbs (2.04 kg).

Power comes from an integral 15 ft heavy duty cord — 14/3 SJT type wire for extreme temperature ranges with a moulded NEMA 5-15P straight-blade plug. Nominal strip length is 60.00 in (1524 mm), with an overall assembly length of 1535.89 mm [60.468 in] shown on the drawing.

1586T12B1BK is UL Listed to Standard UL1363 and CSA Certified to C22.2 (No. 21-95, 42-99), under UL File # E166039, and is cULus and TAA-compliant for federal GSA schedule purchases within the USA. It is RoHS, REACH and USMCA compliant and is manufactured in North America (Country of Origin: CA). This version has no surge protection, no rotated outlets, no metering, is not hospital grade, and the cord is unshielded.
