Hammond 1587H11A1 70 in 11-Outlet Vertical PDU, 15A Rocker Switch

The 1587H11A1 is a 70 in (1778 mm) vertical basic PDU from the 1585-6-7-8 Series, built to distribute 15A / 120V single-phase power inside a rack or cabinet. It carries 11 NEMA 5-15R outlets, all facing the front (11 front, 0 rear), and is aimed at IT and AV integrators, electricians and facilities teams that need straightforward, unmetered power distribution alongside rack-mounted equipment.

Construction is a low-profile slim anodized aluminum extrusion with ABS plastic ends, making the strip rugged but lightweight. Power control is handled by an on/off rocker switch plus a resettable circuit breaker, and the receptacles are 1 in square and equally spaced over the length of the strip at 5.000 in (127.00 mm) intervals. The unit ships in Natural (anodized) finish; overall assembly length on the drawing is 70.468 in (1789.89 mm).

A heavy duty 14/3 SJT cord rated for extreme temperature ranges is included in the 6 ft length, terminated with an integral moulded NEMA 5-15P straight-blade plug. The cord is unshielded, and this model is not surge protected, not metered and not hospital grade. Rated voltage is 125VAC at 60 Hz, 15 amps.

Each outlet strip includes a mounting bracket kit with hardware for vertical installation; additional kits are available under P/N 1585CLIP. Because of its slim profile, the 1587H11A1 can also be used horizontally on a workbench. The series is UL/cUL Listed to UL1363 with CSA C22.2 certification, RoHS and REACH compliant, TAA-compliant for federal GSA schedule purchases within the USA, USMCA compliant and manufactured in North America.
