Hammond 1586T20A1 60-Inch 20-Outlet Vertical PDU With Pilot Light

The 1586T20A1 is a 60 in. (1524 mm) vertical basic power distribution unit with 20 NEMA 5-15R outlets, rated 15 amps at 120 volts single-phase. It is the pilot light (power indicator) version of this 60 in. 20-outlet strip, making it a straightforward choice for IT, AV, telecom and workshop installations where many low-current devices need to be fed from a single 120 V branch circuit.

Construction is a low-profile slim design in rugged, lightweight aluminum with a natural finish. Receptacles are 1 in. square and equally spaced over the length of the strip, so cords and wall-wart style adapters can be distributed evenly along a rack upright instead of crowding one area. Because of the slim profile, the strip can also be used horizontally on a workbench.

Power comes from a heavy duty 14 gauge cord, 14/3 SJT type for extreme temperature ranges, with an integral moulded plug. This part number is supplied with a 6 ft cord terminating in a NEMA 5-15P straight blade plug. Shipping weight is 4.7 lbs (2.13 kg).

Each outlet strip includes a hardware mounting kit; additional kits can be ordered as P/N 1585CLIP. The 1586T20A1 is UL/cUL Listed to UL1363, CSA C22.2 No. 308-14 and CSA C22.2 No. 0.4-04 (UL File # E166039), is RoHS and REACH compliant, USMCA compliant, TAA-compliant for federal GSA schedule purchases within the USA, and is manufactured in North America.
