Hammond 1585T6A1 48 in. 6-Outlet Vertical Power Strip, 15A 120V

The 1585T6A1 is a 48 in. (1219 mm) vertical basic PDU with six NEMA 5-15R outlets, rated 15 amps at 120 volts single-phase. It is built for IT, AV and facilities teams that need to distribute 120V power up the full height of a rack or cabinet, and it can also be used horizontally on a workbench or bench-top test station.

Construction is a low-profile slim design in rugged lightweight aluminum, supplied in a natural finish. Receptacles are 1 in. square and equally spaced over the length of the strip, so equipment cords and wall-wart style adapters can be spread out along the full 48 in. body. All six outlets face the front; there are no rear outlets and no rotated outlets on this model.

Power comes from an integral 6 ft heavy duty 14 gauge cord - 14/3 SJT type for extreme temperature ranges - terminated in a moulded NEMA 5-15P straight blade plug. This version (1585T6A1) has no on-off rocker switch; it uses a power indicator light. It is a basic, non-metered PDU without surge protection and is not hospital grade.

Each outlet strip includes a hardware mounting kit; additional kits can be ordered as P/N 1585CLIP. Shipping weight is 3.5 lbs (1.59 kg).
