Hammond 1585T16D1 48-Inch 16-Outlet Vertical PDU, L5-15P Locking

The 1585T16D1 is a vertical basic PDU (outlet strip) from the 1585-6-7-8 Series, built for IT, AV and OEM installations that need many 120 V outlets distributed along the height of a rack or the length of a bench. It carries 16 NEMA 5-15R receptacles, all on the front face, and is rated 125 VAC, 60 Hz, 15 amps single-phase.

Construction is a low-profile slim anodized aluminum extrusion with ABS plastic end caps, keeping the strip rugged but lightweight. The finish on this version is Natural. Receptacles are 1 in square and equally spaced over the length of the strip. This variant uses a power indicator (pilot) light rather than a rocker switch, and includes a resettable 15 amp circuit breaker.

Power is supplied by a 15 ft heavy duty 14/3 SJT cord with an integral moulded NEMA L5-15P locking plug, suited to extreme temperature ranges and to installations where a twist-lock connection is preferred. Strip length is 48.00 in (1219 mm) nominal, with an overall assembly length of 1231.19 mm [48.472 in] on the drawing. Shipping weight is 5 lbs (2.27 kg).

It is TAA-compliant for federal GSA schedule purchases within the USA, RoHS and REACH compliant, USMCA compliant, and manufactured in North America. This model does not include surge protection and is not metered or hospital grade.
