Hammond 1585T16B1 48-Inch 16-Outlet Vertical Power Strip, 15A

The 1585T16B1 is a 48" vertical basic PDU with 16 NEMA 5-15R outlets, built for distributing 15 A, 125 VAC single-phase power inside racks and cabinets. It is specified by IT and AV integrators, electricians, OEM engineers and facilities teams who need a high-outlet-count strip that mounts vertically along a rack upright, and it can also be used horizontally on a workbench.

Construction is a low-profile slim anodized aluminum extrusion with ABS plastic end caps, giving a rugged but lightweight body in a natural finish. Receptacles are 1" square and equally spaced over the length of the strip, with all 16 outlets on the front face and none on the rear. This pilot-light version has no on-off rocker switch; it uses a power indicator light together with a resettable 15 amp circuit breaker. The switched equivalent in the series is 1585H16B1.

The strip length is 48.00 in (1219 mm), with a drawing overall assembly length of 1231.09 mm [48.468 in] and a body width of 41.05 mm [1.616 in], so it tucks into tight vertical channels. A 15 ft heavy duty 14/3 SJT cord with integral moulded NEMA 5-15P straight-blade plug is included, rated for extreme temperature ranges. Shipping weight is 4 lbs (1.81 kg).

1585T16B1 ships with a mounting bracket kit and hardware; additional hardware kits are available as P/N 1585CLIP. The part is rated 125 VAC, 60 Hz, 15 amps, UL Listed to UL1363 and CSA Certified to C22.2 (No. 21-95, 42-99) under UL file E166039, and is cULus, TAA-compliant, RoHS and REACH compliant.
