Hammond 1585H10D1 10-Outlet 48 in Vertical PDU, L5-15P Locking

The 1585H10D1 is a vertical basic PDU (power distribution outlet strip) rated 15 amps at 125VAC, 60 Hz, with ten NEMA 5-15R receptacles on the front face. It is built for IT, AV and electrical installers who need straightforward rack power distribution, and the low-profile slim design also lets it be used horizontally on a workbench.

The case is an anodized aluminum extrusion with ABS plastic ends, in a natural finish, giving a rugged but lightweight assembly (shipping weight 5 lbs / 2.27 kg). The nominal strip length is 48.00 in (1219 mm), with an overall assembly length of 1231.06 mm [48.467 in] on the drawing. Receptacles are 1" square and are equally spaced over the length of the power strip, and all ten outlets face the front (none on the rear).

Power is controlled by an on/off rocker switch and protected by a resettable circuit breaker. The 1585H10D1 ships with an integral 15 ft cord terminated in a NEMA L5-15P twist-locking moulded plug; the series uses heavy duty 14 gauge 14/3 SJT type cord suited to extreme temperature ranges. This configuration is not surge protected, is not metered, is not hospital grade, and does not use rotated outlets or a shielded cord.

A mounting bracket kit with hardware is included for vertical mounting; additional hardware kits can be ordered under P/N 1585CLIP. The unit is UL Listed to Standard UL1363 and CSA Certified to Standards C22.2 (No. 21-95, 42-99) under UL file E166039, is TAA-compliant for federal GSA schedule purchases within the USA, and is RoHS, REACH and USMCA compliant.
