Hammond 1585H10C1 48" 10-Outlet Vertical PDU, L5-15P Locking Plug

The 1585H10C1 is a 48 inch vertical basic PDU (outlet strip) from the Hammond 1585-6-7-8 Series, built for IT, AV and OEM users who need dependable 15 A, 125 VAC single-phase power distribution inside a rack or cabinet. It carries ten NEMA 5-15R receptacles, all on the front face, and terminates in a 6 ft cord with a NEMA L5-15P twist-locking plug so the connection cannot be pulled loose accidentally.

Construction is a low-profile, slim anodized aluminum extrusion with ABS plastic end caps, keeping the strip rugged but lightweight. Overall assembly length is 1231.06 mm (48.467 in) with a strip/extrusion length of 1224.28 mm (48.200 in), against a nominal listed size of 48.00 in (1219 mm). Shipping weight is 4 lbs (1.81 kg) and the finish is natural. Receptacles are 1 in square and equally spaced over the length of the power strip.

Controls include an on/off rocker switch and a resettable 15 amp circuit breaker, so the whole strip can be switched and protected at the source. The cord is heavy duty 14 gauge, 14/3 SJT type for extreme temperature ranges with an integral moulded plug. This model is not surge protected, has no rear outlets, is not metered and is not hospital grade.

Every outlet strip in the series ships with a mounting bracket kit and hardware; additional hardware kits are available as P/N 1585CLIP. The slim profile lets 1585H10C1 mount vertically in an enclosure or be used horizontally on a workbench.
