The 1585H10A1 is a 48 in (1219 mm) vertical basic PDU with 10 NEMA 5-15R outlets, built for IT, AV and electrical installers who need to distribute 120V single-phase power down the side of a rack, cabinet or relay rack. All 10 receptacles face the front; there are no rear outlets, and the receptacles are 1 in square and equally spaced over the length of the strip.
Construction is a low-profile slim anodized aluminum extrusion with ABS plastic end caps, keeping the strip rugged but lightweight. The finish is Natural. Overall assembly length on the drawing is 1231.09 mm (48.468 in), with the extrusion measuring 1224.28 mm (48.200 in). Shipping weight is 4 lbs (1.81 kg).
The strip is rated 125 VAC, 60 Hz, 15 Amps and includes an on/off rocker switch plus a resettable circuit breaker. Power comes from an integral 6 ft heavy duty 14/3 SJT cord with a moulded NEMA 5-15P straight blade plug, suited to extreme temperature ranges. The cord is unshielded, and this model is not surge protected, not metered, not hospital grade, and does not use rotated outlets.
A mounting bracket kit with hardware is included for vertical mounting; additional hardware kits are available as P/N 1585CLIP. The 1585H10A1 can also be laid horizontally for bench use.
