Hammond 15854T7C1 42-Inch 7-Outlet Vertical PDU, L5-15P Locking

The 15854T7C1 is a 42" vertical basic PDU (outlet strip) with seven NEMA 5-15R receptacles, rated 15 amps at 125VAC, single-phase. It is built for IT, AV and electrical professionals who need dependable, non-metered power distribution inside a rack or cabinet, and it can also be laid horizontally on a workbench.

The housing is a low-profile anodized aluminum extrusion with ABS plastic ends, giving a rugged but lightweight assembly that weighs 3.5 lbs (1.59 kg) in Natural finish. Overall assembly length is 1078.79 mm [42.472 in] with a 1071.88 mm [42.200 in] strip body, 29.18 mm [1.149 in] deep and 41.05 mm [1.616 in] wide at the receptacle face. The 1" square outlets are equally spaced along the length on 127.00 mm [5.000 in] centers, all seven facing the front with none on the rear.

This version has no on/off switch; instead it uses a power indicator (pilot) light plus a resettable 15 amp circuit breaker. Power comes from an integral 6 ft heavy-duty 14/3 SJT cord with a moulded NEMA L5-15P locking plug, suited to extreme temperature ranges. Outlets are standard, not rotated, and the unit is not hospital grade, not metered and not surge protected.

A mounting bracket kit with hardware is included for vertical installation; additional hardware is available as P/N 1585CLIP. 15854T7C1 is cULus recognized under UL File # E166039, UL Listed to UL1363 and CSA Certified to C22.2 (No. 21-95, 42-99), TAA-compliant for federal GSA schedule purchases within the USA, RoHS and REACH compliant, USMCA compliant and made in Canada.
