Hammond 15853T6B1 36" 6-Outlet Vertical Power Strip, 15 ft Cord

The 15853T6B1 is a 36 in. vertical basic PDU from the 1585-6-7-8 Series, built for IT, AV and OEM users who need to distribute 15 A, 120 V single-phase power inside a rack, cabinet or enclosure. It carries six NEMA 5-15R outlets on the front face (none on the rear), a power indicator pilot light instead of an on-off rocker switch, and a resettable 15 amp circuit breaker.

Construction is a low-profile slim anodized aluminum extrusion with ABS plastic ends, in a natural finish, keeping the strip rugged but lightweight. Receptacles are 1 in. square and are equally spaced over the length of the strip, with 5.000 in. (127.00 mm) centre spacing. The unit is rated 125 VAC, 60 Hz, 15 amps, and shipping weight is 4.5 lbs (2.04 kg).

Power comes from an integral moulded NEMA 5-15P straight-blade plug on a 15 ft heavy duty 14 gauge, 14/3 SJT cord suited to extreme temperature ranges. Nominal strip length is 36.00 in (914 mm); the drawing shows a 36.200 in (919.48 mm) extrusion and a 36.468 in (926.29 mm) overall assembly length. This version has no surge protection, no shielded cord, is not hospital grade and is not metered.
