Hammond 15854H7A1 42-Inch 7-Outlet Vertical PDU With Rocker Switch

The 15854H7A1 is a 42 in long vertical basic PDU with seven NEMA 5-15R outlets, rated 125 VAC, 60 Hz, 15 amps. It is intended for IT, AV and electrical professionals who need straightforward, unmanaged power distribution inside a rack or cabinet, and it can also be laid out horizontally on a workbench.

Construction is a low-profile slim anodized aluminum extrusion with ABS plastic ends, keeping the strip rugged but lightweight. The finish is Natural. Receptacles are 1 in square and equally spaced over the length of the strip, with all seven outlets on the front face and none on the rear. This version is the on/off rocker switch model (the pilot-light equivalent in the series is 15854T7A1) and includes a resettable circuit breaker.

Power is supplied by a 6 ft integral moulded cord terminating in a NEMA 5-15P straight-blade plug. The series uses heavy duty 14 gauge, 14/3 SJT type cord for extreme temperature ranges. Overall assembly length on the drawing is 1071.88 mm [42.200 in], with a 1078.79 mm [42.472 in] side-view assembly dimension; shipping weight is 3.5 lbs (1.59 kg).

A mounting bracket kit with hardware is included with the strip; additional hardware kits are available as P/N 1585CLIP. 15854H7A1 does not include surge protection and is not metered, hospital grade, or fitted with rotated outlets or a shielded cord.

The strip is CSA Certified to Standards C22.2 (No. 21-95, 42-99) and UL Listed to Standard UL1363 under UL file E166039. It is TAA-compliant for federal GSA schedule purchases within the USA, RoHS and REACH compliant, USMCA compliant and manufactured in North America.
