Hammond 15853H6D1 36-Inch 6-Outlet Vertical Power Strip, L5-15P

The 15853H6D1 is a 36 in. vertical basic PDU (outlet strip) with six NEMA 5-15R receptacles, rated 15 amps at 125VAC, 60 Hz. It is intended for IT, AV and electrical professionals who need simple, unmetered power distribution inside a rack or cabinet, and it can also be laid flat and used horizontally on a workbench.

Construction is a low-profile slim anodized aluminum extrusion with ABS plastic ends, finished in Natural. All six outlets face the front (no rear outlets) and are 1 in. square, equally spaced over the length of the strip at 5.000 in. typical centres. Control and protection are built in: an on/off rocker switch plus a resettable 15 amp circuit breaker. This part is not surge protected, not metered and not hospital grade, and the outlets are not rotated.

Power is supplied by a 15 ft locking power cord terminated in a NEMA L5-15P plug, using heavy duty 14 gauge 14/3 SJT cord with an integral moulded plug for extreme temperature ranges. The cord is unshielded. Overall assembly length on the drawing is 926.29 mm [36.468 in], with a 919.48 mm [36.200 in] extrusion; shipping weight is 3.75 lbs (1.70 kg).

A mounting bracket kit with hardware is included for vertical installation; additional hardware kits are available under P/N 1585CLIP. The 15853H6D1 is CSA Certified to C22.2 No. 21-95 and No. 42-99, UL Listed to UL1363 under UL File E166039, cULus listed, TAA-compliant for federal GSA schedule purchases within the USA, RoHS and REACH compliant, USMCA compliant and manufactured in North America (Country of Origin: CA).
