Hammond 1583T6B1BKRA 1U 15A Rack PDU, 6 Rotated Rear 5-15R Outlets

The 1583T6B1BKRA is a 1U, 19-inch horizontal rack mount basic PDU (outlet strip) rated 15 A at 120/125 VAC, built for IT, AV and industrial racks where power needs to be distributed from the rear of the unit. It carries six NEMA 5-15R outlets, all rear-facing, plus a red power indicator light and a resettable circuit breaker on the front face. There is no on/off switch on this version; the switched equivalent in the same configuration is 1583H6B1BKRA.

The six receptacles on this model are rotated, giving extra spacing so most plug-in transformers and oversized wall packs clear one another instead of blocking adjacent outlets. Power comes in through an integral moulded NEMA 5-15P straight-blade plug on a heavy-duty 14/3 SJT, 14 gauge cord rated for extreme temperature ranges, listed at 15 ft in the series ordering table and part drawing. A 15 A, 125 VAC circuit breaker guards against accidental overload and can be reset without tools.

Construction is painted steel, front and back, finished in black (RAL9005 black powder coat per the series specification), which complies with Greenguard guidelines for indoor air quality.
