Hammond 1583T12A1BKX 1U 12-Outlet Rack PDU, 15A With Power Light

The 1583T12A1BKX is a 1U horizontal 19-inch rack mount basic PDU (outlet strip) rated 15A, 120 VAC, with twelve NEMA 5-15R receptacles split six on the front and six on the rear. It is aimed at IT, AV and broadcast integrators, electricians and OEM engineers who need straightforward, non-metered power distribution inside a 19-inch rack or cabinet with outlets accessible from both sides of the panel.

This version uses a red power indicator light rather than an illuminated on/off rocker switch, so connected loads stay live whenever the cord is energised. A resettable 15 Amp, 125 VAC circuit breaker is built in to guard against accidental overload. Power comes from a heavy-duty 14/3 SJT cord, 6 ft long, suited to extreme temperature ranges and terminated in an integral moulded NEMA 5-15P straight blade plug.

Construction is black painted steel front and back, finished in RAL9005 black powder coat that complies with the Greenguard guidelines for indoor air quality. Overall dimensions are 1.72 in (44 mm) high, 19.00 in (483 mm) wide and 2.66 in (68 mm) deep, with the drawing showing 1.718 in height, 19.000 in width and 2.661 in depth, and a 17.500 in mounting-slot span. Shipping weight is 4 lbs (1.81 kg).
